The December 10th Outing 2025 will be held at the Town Park for the annual night hunt.

This is by far one of our most popular events. We meet at the same field that we have our monthly coin hunts and have a great time digging quarters in the dark. Teams of Two People, One detector, No head phones. One flashlight, In the dark.  Need we say more? This is a potluck event starts at 4 P.M. Please bring a dish to share. This outing has a fee to participate in the hunt of $10 per team. Hunt will start at approximately 6 PM

Claim Outings

Many of our outings take place on one of the clubs many mining claims. We usually do a Hobo Stew, Demonstrations, Games, Raffles and just have a great time out in the desert with great people! These FREE outings start about 9:00AM and go until after lunch. You DO NOT need to be a member to attend, so this would be a great opportunity to see what the QMDC is all about.
